One room.
Every way of seeing.

A writing surface, a passive graph, a local reader, and a sealed place to think. Here is everything Aevum does - and everything it refuses to do.

Distraction-free writing page

A real sheet of paper, set to your own page geometry and type. Press / to summon any block - scene, argument, quote, dialogue, a transform, a conflict - and type as if nothing were watching. It all stays plain text underneath.

Three modes change how much the room shows you:

drift
All chrome gone. Only the page and the cursor.
forge
Tools ghosted at the edges, a breath away.
architect
Everything visible - the full instrument.

Interactive story graph

There is one source of truth, derived from the manuscript the moment you stop typing. Name a character in brackets and they enter the graph. Declare a conflict and an edge appears. Nothing is filed by hand - the web assembles itself from what you wrote.

  • ~themes weighted by how often and how hard they recur
  • characters surfaced from mentions across chapters
  • chronology drawn from story-time, told-order aside

Whole-manuscript map & signals

The atlas reads the manuscript back as an arc: every chapter along the spine, every character and motif as a lane beneath it, and a panel of signals for what the book is doing without being told to.

Local AI that reads your manuscript

The reader runs on a model on your own machine. It does not coach, correct, or co-write. It reads - and tells you what it sees in two distinct registers, so the mirror is never confused with the analyst.

  • noticed today - gentle marginalia: a motif returning, a sentence running long, a turn in the register.
  • Δintelligence - a measured read on intent, pacing, time, and the density of the web.
  • /the reader chat - ask what the manuscript is doing; it answers from your text.

what is behind the door

The same page, twice.

Aevum does not nag or interrupt. What the free room lacks, it says once, quietly, in the place the thing would have been - and then leaves you to write. This is the identical manuscript at both tiers.

Focus mode

Commit to 25, 45, 90, 180 minutes - or until dawn. The domain closes: no clock, no notifications, no exits. A candle is the only timekeeper. Break the seal early and it costs you, by an arrangement you set in advance. Everything autosaves back to the manuscript.

Version history

The room keeps every draft on its own, and lets you name the ones that mattered. Walk the timeline and the page behind it changes with you - the words as they stood that evening, with the word count and what it cost you since.

  • checkpoints you name yourself - before the recasting scene
  • ·automatic versions as you work, kept without being asked
  • restore that snapshots the present first, so going back is never one-way

Auto-built index & export

A back-of-book index, derived rather than compiled: every character, symbol and theme with the pages it actually appears on, each carrying the one-clause meaning you gave it. And if you would rather the reading were done by a model you already pay for, point it at your own key.

Parts, chapters, sections, with pacing bars from word counts.

As told versus as it happened - flashbacks surface themselves.

Motifs weighted by recurrence - what the book is becoming.

Set the light.

Every workspace remembers its own weather. Five atmospheres re-temper the whole room - and the page recolours with it. Every photograph below is the same page of the same manuscript. Morning light and study lamp come with The Room; the other three open with The Reader.
